Scholarship Program

The ND Propane Gas Association Scholarship Program began in 1993 with one $500 scholarship. Because of the overwhelming response from high school seniors, in 1996 the association began two $500 scholarships instead of one. Applicants for the scholarship must have a parent who is propane supplied by a ND Propane Gas Association member. Applicants must also be seniors who plan to attend a North Dakota university or college in the fall of the year.

For the 2002 scholarship program, the board increased the $500 scholarships to two $1,000 scholarships. To date the association has awarded $26,000.00 in scholarships. The scholarship winners are awarded the scholarships each year at the NDGPA Convention Awards Banquet in June.
